Ben Finn (Blue Heron Hills CC) beat Joe Colosi (Wildwood GC) 1 up after 20 holes. This is Ben's first RDGA Junior Championship trophy.
Dan Drummond (Wildwood GC)won his second match to advance into the semi-finals at this years RDGA Sub-Junior Boys Championship. He will be facing Ian Cumming from Lake Shore CC.
Joe and Dan Drummond (Wildwood GC) both won their first round matches at the RDGA's Sub-Junior Boys Championship. Luckily Joe and Dan are in opposite sides of the bracket and wouldn't face each other until the finals.
GGS students Joe Colosi (Wildwood GC) and Ben Finn (Blue Heron Hills CC) will compete in the final match to determine this year's winner of the RDGA Junior Boys Championship.
3 of the 4 players remaining in the RDGA Junior Boys Championship are students of the John Graham Golf School. The 3 remaining are Joe Colosi (Wildwood GC), Ben Finn (Blue Heron Hills CC) and Brian McKenna (Penfield CC)
Joe Colosi (Wildwood GC), Ben Finn (Blue Heron Hills CC), Brian McKenna (Penfield CC) and Tyler Phillips (The Brookwoods CC) all advanced in the RDGA's Junior Boys Championship. The tournament is being played at the Country Club of Rochester and will conclude Thursday, July 26th.
Sarah Tranelli shot an 87 to place 1 shot out of the lead at the Western New York PGA's Junior Girls Tournament at Penn Hills CC.
JJ Shearer(SUNY Binghampton) shot two rounds of 73(+4) to qualify in the 13th spot and will be competing against Matt Campbell. JJ ended up losing that match to Matt 3 and 1.
Chris Malec(Webster GC) shot rounds of 81, 78, and 73 to finish in a tie for 39th. This was Chris' first attempt at a national event and showed resiliency by improving each day.
Ben Finn(72-Blue Heron Hills CC), Joe Colosi(75-Wild Wood GC), Brian McKenna(77-Penfield CC), Tyler Phillips(79-The Brookwoods), Patrick Galvin(80-Monroe GC), Dan Colosi(81-Wild Wood GC), Patric Uhazie(81-Midvale CC)and Alec Drouin(81-Webster GC) all qualified for the top 32 match play final at the Country Club of Rochester. Nate Barnhard(83-Wild Wood GC) also qualified as the 3rd alternate.
Joe and Danny Drummond qualified for the 2007 RDGA Sub-Junior Championship on July 19th at Old Hickory GC. Joe shot a 75 and Danny shot a 79 to be part of the top 16 players advancing to match play and the Country Club of Rochester.

Scott Harris, Jr. shot rounds of 73, 71, 77, and 77 to finish tied for 6th at Ridgemont CC. Andrew DiBitteto won this year's tournament with a four round score of 285 (-3) on his home course.
9 GGS students qualified into the top 30 at this year's John Ryan Memorial District Championship.

Brian McKenna (Penfield CC) and Chris Malec (Webster GC) qualified to play in the NY State Junior Amateur. The Championship will be played at Mark Twain GC located in Elmira, NY.
Chrissy Pachuta, a freshman at Louisville, shot 78 to qualify 6th in the championship flight. Chrissy lost in her first match and will begin preparing for the US Women's Amateur qualifying.
JJ Shearer failed to qualify for match play at the 2007 Championship after a 2 round total of 159. There was a playoff for match play at 151. JJ is returning home to prepare for the New York State Men's Amateur.
Amy McCollum and Sarah Tranelli placed 34th and 36th respectively at the Westbrook CC in Mansfield, Ohio.
Joe Colosi, a sophomore at Rush-Henrietta HS, shot a 72 to win the latest RDGA junior event at Victor Hills GC. Joe plays out of Wildwood CC and has been a GGS student for 4 years.
GGS students Joe Colosi 72, Tyler Phillips 75, Chris Malec 77, Ben Finn 78, Brian McKenna 80, Patrick Galvin 80, Patrick Uhazie 80, and Mike Cali 81 all placed in the top 20 at the RDGA's latest junior event.
Joe and Danny Drummond placed in the top 5 again at the RDGA's Classic Medal East event at Victor Hills. Joe shot a 77 and placed 2nd. Danny shot an 81 and placed in a tie for 5th.

St. John Fisher sophomore, James Ozzello, began his work for on course management and course strategy.
Pittsford Mendon standout, Amy McCollum, began new swing mechanics work to prepare her for college golf.
