13 GGS players qualify for RDGA District Championship - John @ 11:12 pm EST
Brett Semple, Anthony Colosi and Kyle Hiscock all qualified for the District Championship from the Deerfield qualifying site. Brian McKenna, Bobby McCartney, Jordan Wilson, Mike Dulen, Lyle Weissinger, Jake Reimer, Tyler Phillips, Dewey Weller, JP O'Brien and Tom Muto Jr. all qualified from the Centerpoint site.

This year's tournament will be held at Ridgemont CC where Steve Goodrich is the defending champion.

Three GGS Students qualify for Men's NY State Amateur - John @ 11:01 pm EST
Kevin Kaye, Bobby McCartney and Jordan Wilson all qualified at Clifton Springs CC to compete in the Men's New York State Amateur at Yahnundasis GC. Kevin and Jordan will be competing for Monroe Community College for 07-08 and should be strong players on a very competitive team.

JJ Shearer wins State Am Qualifier - John @ 10:56 pm EST
SUNY Binghampton sophomore, JJ Shearer, fired a 68 to medal at the NY State Amateur Qualifier in Binghampton.

Great Job JJ and good luck at Yahnundasis GC!!


Three GGS students finish in top 5 - John @ 10:50 pm EST
The RDGA held its first Classic Medal East junior golf tournament. GGS students Tyler Phillips, Brian McKenna and Patrick Uhazie finished 1st, T-3rd and 5th respectively. Tyler shot 73, Brian shot 75 and Patrick shot 78.

Chrissy Pachuta makes to semi-finals of the 2nd flight at the Women's Western Amateur Championship - John @ 10:36 pm EST
Chrissy Pachuta, a freshman at the University of Louisville, won two matches in the second flight to make it to the semi-final match before losing to Abby Spieler. Chrissy qualified for the second flight after scores of 79-89 for a 168.


GGS student JJ Shearer qualifies for US Public Links - John @ 10:15 pm EST
JJ Shearer, a sophomore at SUNY Binghampton, qualified for the USGA's US Public Links Championship to held in Chicago this July. He also recently qualified for the New York State Men's Amateur.

Results from WNYPGA Junior Tour Champinship - John @ 10:12 pm EST
Five players qualified for this years WNYPGA Junior Tour Championship. Points were collected throughout the regular season with the top 8 in the 16-18 and 13-15 divisions. In the 9 hole division, only 4 players qualified for the tournament. GGS students won the point totals for each division. They were Chris Malec (16-18), Joe Drummond (13-15) and Danny Drummond (9 hole). In the 16-18yr old division, Brian McKenna placed highest for GGS students with a second place. Chris Malec placed 4th and Aaron Youngman placed 8th. In the 13-15yr old division, Joe Drummond placed 7th and in the 9 hole division, Danny Drummond won with a 2 day score of 79.


GGS Students sweep point standings on WNYPGA Junior Tour - John @ 10:05 pm EST
Three Graham Golf School students won the points titles for the three divisions for boys on the WNYPGA Junior Tour. Danny Drummond (boys 9-hole)won every event he played in this spring including the Tour Championship. Joe Drummond (boys 13-15) won the point title and placed 7th at the Tour Championship. Chris Malec (boys 16-18) won his point title and placed 4th at the Tour Championship.


Brett Semple finishes 8th at NJCAA Nationals - John @ 9:49 pm EST
Brett Semple, a sophomore at Monroe Community College, finished his MCC career with an 8th place finish at the 2007 NJCAA National Championship. With a final round 72 and 299 total for four days, Brett became the second two time All-American under Coach Graham.
