Mike Colosi, 2006 NJCAA Individual Champion, is currently negotiating with two Div. II Colleges about a possible fall transfer. One school is located in North Carolina and the other in Florida. Updates will be forthcoming. Mike is a current student and former player for the Monroe Community College golf team.
Freshman Chrissy Pachuta (Perry, NY) finished in a tie for 38th with scores of 81,81, and 79. The team placed first and also boasted the tournament medalist in Cindy LaCrosse. They will play again in two weeks at the U of Florida's tournament.
Chrissy Pachuta began her spring tournament season lask week while competing for the University of Louisville. Chrissy has been playing as in individual at their 6th spot for most of her freshman season. This tournament experience should be vital to her consistant improvement.
The 2007 Callaway PGA Junior Series Schedule is now available. These events provide a reasonably priced but highly competitive series of junior tournaments for those players looking for regional/national competition. This type of exposure is especially important for those juniors looking to compete for athletic golf scholarships in college. A link is provided on the home page.
